Battle of Cambrai - for 14th Heavy Artillery Group (artillery preparation). [Trenches to November 1917?] "Bearbeitet von der V.A. [Vermessungs Abteilung = Field Survey Unit] 23, nach eigenen Erkundungen, Fliegerbildern und Beutekarten" [from intelligence, air photos and captured documents]. British original photostat on tracing cloth of captured German map. British translation of reference attached: Legend - trenches, dugouts, mines, MGs, Minenwerfer, Regt & Batt HQs, wire entanglements, light rlys, wells. Detail, etc grey. Manuscript overdrawing for German defence scheme as per Legend in black, blue and red ink., Location: Research Collections; Fonds: WW1 Trench Maps: France; Box number: PC16; envelope_number: 466, Manuscript on reverse: 14 H[eavy] A[rtillery] G[roup].
