In upper left corner, "Vol. I. p. I. B." Near lower neat line, "This map relates to Letter XVI." Originally published in Lahontan's New Voyages to North America, published 1703 & 1735. Described in Kershaw, Early Printed Maps of Canada, Vol. I, entry 306, p. 271, 268-269: "This map was engraved by Herman Moll, and was published in 1703 and 1735 without change."
