Includes two insets: Part of the upper river of St. Laurence and A view of the action gained by the English Sepr. 13, 1759, near Quebec, brought from thence by an officer of distinction. Described in Kershaw, Early Printed Maps of Canada, volume IV, entry 1016, p. 16: "Published in: The Natural and Civil History of the French Dominions-. London, 1760... There is a dedication to William Pitt engraved in the top left corner, and outside the neat-line, bottom right, is 'Price 2d'."
