Described in Sellers and Van Ee, Maps and Charts of North America and the West Indies 1750-1789, entry 1187, p. 255: "Published version of item 1181 [Wilkinson, William Cumberland. Plan of the encampment and position of the army under His Excelly. Lt. General Burgoyne... 1777]. Shows the encampments of General Burgoyne, Brigadier General Frazer, and the Earl of Balcarras from September 20 to October 7, the disposition of British and American troops and lines of march in the action of October 7, and the American camp at Stillwater. Includes an overlay showing General Burgoyne's army on October 8. Also shows houses, farms, fields, roads, part of the Hudson River, streams in the area, vegetation, and relief. Oriented with north to the bottom."
