Printed map. "Made by Thos. Martyn." Visual scale [10 inches = 10 miles approximately]. Many coats of arms inset around the map in 8 blocks of different sizes. Insets: "The Islands of Scilly lying about nine leagues nearly west of the lands-end, could not no be placed in their proper position without making the map of too great a length, they are therefore placed here to shew the form approx. and proportion they bear with the rest of the county". Acquired as part of the Lord Cholmondeley collection.
