The item is a handwritten list of place names and dates which appear to relate to events from the War of the Austrian Succession. The first 5 names appear to be locations in France with dates ranging from October to November of 1746. A horizontal line is drawn across the page and all names below appear to be locations in Italy with dates ranging from May to August of 1747. These names correspond to the camp maps and the annotations in red ink on the index map which can be found on the recto side of the paper. Author unknown. The paper has a watermark with the date, "1809" surmounted by a fleur-de-lis. On recto: [Index map of Northern Italy and Southwest France] see: RMC F57 supplement 2 recto.
