Description
Front: A number of buildings partially submerged in flood, including a Laundry. In the centre is a sign for two lots for sale. Photograph taken by professional photographer Arthur Tomkinson who's Photographs chronicled the early days of the Porcupine gold rush. South Porcupine flooded to some extent almost yearly so the date of this photo could be anywhere between about 1910 to 1920ish, other sources suggest this might be 1913, but it is difficult to date with certainty.
