Description
Front: No Caption on front. The writer on the back refers to these vehicles as some of the ones that were sold in Brussels over a year period. Photo shows a line of 10 vehicles, presumed to be Ford Model T's, parked next to each other with a gentleman standing beside each, presumably the owners. they are in front of a business block. Signs visible include one for the "Family Theatre." On the storefront next to the theatre are signs for "Deering Farm Implements Made in Canada", a small "Ford" sign projecting from the building. In one window, the name S. Carter is present. The scene is on Turnberry St., Brussels, Ont. The store here at the time was Walker & Black's Furniture & Undertaking. Samuel Carter also had his Ford agency here. Link to source which has a photo of this same part of Turnberry St. at a little later date where the theatre and store are visible. the stores were part of the Leckie Business block that later burned in 1983: http://www.huroneast.com/index.php?sltb=heritage&loc=80 Back: Mr. Bert Stewart Why don’t you call and see all of your friends when in B— Sorry I did not see you as its ages since last we met.
