Front: Five men and three boys pose for a photograph while working in an apple orchard. Two of the men stand on ladders leant up against apple trees. Ends of barrels say "Canadian Apples Put up by Carmen Baker, Brighton, Ont. No. 1". Herington was a photographer apparently based in Trenton, Ontario. Back: Miss Martha Nix This is a gang of apple pickers. Albert & Thurston are standing at the stretcher on the left-hand side. Ethel is just one week old to-night (Oct 15) We are all smart Annie please write
