Map is surrounded by text under the broad heading, "British Possessions" and further subdivided by sub-headings, "Lower Canada. Situation, Boundaries, and Divisions" and "Upper Canada. Situation, Boundaries, and Divisions" and these sub-headings are then subdivided further. Described in Catalogue of the National Map Collection, vol. 10, H6/1100-[1815]-(1823), p. 699-700: "This map was first published in A Complete Historical, Chronological and Geographical American Atlas, fol.
