Probably originally published in Johnston's The National Atlas of Historical, Commercial and Political Geography (Edinburgh: W. & A.K. Johnston, circa 1849-1854), based on Winearls' description of Johnston's "Canada" map (McMaster map RMC_107381) in Mapping Upper Canada 1780-1867, entry 120 (5), p. 41: "[Above title printed in red] 'LITHOGRAPHED EDITION' [and in red below margin] 'EDINBURGH: JOHN JOHNSTONE W. & A.K.
