Photo taken by Number 10 Squadron, RAF. Direction and coverage is delineated on key map number 97 (WW1AIR369, macrepo 5155). Oblique angle photo looking southeast toward Ruyen. Covers an area equivalent to portions of squares P36 and V5 on the corresponding WWI map sheet 29. Negative roll 10B, photo number "O" for Oblique 234. The railway south of the Canal de l'Escaut can be seen in the photo just above the canal, cutting across the photo from left to right. Annotations on recto: map references "29.P36.c.48.70" and "V5.637" labelled in white with arrows pointing to their locations along the canal. WWI Aerial Photograph Collection: Box 3, Envelope 96.
