"1st Field Survey Co., R.E. 2653". "Information from prisoners and captured documents of to 25-8-17 in green". "Trenches, tracks, tramways, cables etc; corrected and other information from air photos up to 25-8-17 in brown". "Information from observation and patrols up to 25-8-17 in blue". Detail, grid and contours grey; German trenches and names red; British trenches and names blue; British front line grey (after capture of Hill 70); roads and tracks red and yellow. Used by Major J.C. Thomson MC (OC 20th Siege Battery, 8-inch hows).
