Printed map. GSGS (Series) ; 2901. "Published by the Royal Geographical Society, 1910." "International boundaries as in July, 1914." "Railways inserted to November, 1917." A copy of this map is believed to have been consulted by Sir Mark Sykes, representing Great Britain, and Francois Georges Picot, representing France, when negotiating the Sykes-Picot Agreement involving the arrogation of territory in the Middle East in anticipation of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire during the First World War.
