Defence Overprint prepared for the First Canadian Army for Operation Blockbuster (February-March 1945). The date of this map is assumed, based upon the date of Operation Blockbuster. Annotations: "Not to be used for shooting" and "Targets outside division boundary will not be engaged without reference to RCA [Royal Canadian Artillery], 3 CDN DIV [3rd Canadian Division]." This map was originally held by the Department of Defence, and was acquired by the Laurier Military History Archive (LMH) from the Directorate of History and Heritage, Government of Canada, in the 1990s. Digitization and georeferencing of this map was performed at the University of Waterloo.
