Chart no. 169.41. Original survey in 1844 by Captain A.T.E. Vidal, Royal Navy. Original publication date of July 18th, 1849. "Engraved by J. & C. Walker." Reprinted with small corrections in 1918, 1924, 1925, 1926, 1936, 1938, 1939, 1940 (zinc enamel print), and 1946. Inset: Santa Cruz [1:246,933 approx.]. Numerous sea-level profile illustrations of Flores and Corvo Islands. Verso: blue ink stamp, "Supplied for the use of the Air Ministry." This digital image has been created from an original, paper chart held at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, accession number 997.178.014 (drawer 1).
