Manuscript map. "Scale-1 in.=200 ft." Stamped in red near right edge, "Grand Trunk Railway System / Drawing Office / Aug 7 1903 / Montreal / Chief Engineer" with "6815" written in black ink within the circle. Shows Grand Trunk Railway and the Canadian Pacific Railway, and the division line between the 2 railways. Coverage extends east from Hamilton at road between Concessions 4 and 5 to "Allandale" (i.e. Barrie). Located in Peel County, Ontario, 34.5 miles northwest of Toronto. Also known as Mono Road Junction. "Became Cardwell Junction in 1864, served by the Toronto, Bruce and Grey Railway in 1870, then the Hamilton & Northern Railway in 1876. Station not now in use. Population 29 in 1893 and 20 in 1908" (Floreen Ellen Carter, Place Names of Ontario. London, Ont.: Phelps Publishing Company, 1984. Vol. 1, p. 783). Acquired as part of the Hodsoll Collection.
